TAFARI WATKIS RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM “THE JOURNEY” with New VIDEO

21 AUG 2021 (FAIM HUB) – “Come along my friends come along…with me on this journey” that’s the start of The Journey’s title track, on Tafari Watkis’ debut album, release today, August 21. Being the first track on the album of the same name, The Journey kick-starts the singer’s album and its release with a video that holds the message that the journey encompass not just musical but spiritual variety.

Title track, “The Journey”, may have kick-start today’s album release with its video but the journey didn’t start here and much have been achieved as there have been a few milestones along the way that saw the release of singles such as, “Can’t You See it” and “Who Dem A Pree” released in 2020 as well as “Rootz Dawtah” and “Rasta Touch Down“, released this year, January and April, respectively.

Alongside its studio album, The Journey is also released in a brand new format, FAIM iAlbum; aligning the artiste’s music with new online trends as it relates to the globalization of the virtual world especially since the turn of 2019 and the global COVID crisis. The Journey’s iAlbum is produced and published by FAIM Hub, a Canadian-based artists’ showcase & promotion website with Reggae & Jamaica as its main focus.

The Journey holds beautiful memories for the artistes befittingly highlighted in track one, “The Journey”, where he reflects on his youthful days with meditative lyrics upon some sweet Reggae melodies. In a recent Instagram post Tafari gave a peek of what to expect from album, indicating to fans and followers to,

And in a follow-up post on IG he shared a preview of “The Journey’s” music video to some good comments from his followers.

Along the journey, the prolific Tafari Watkis has don many hats including but not limited to, singer, songwriter, musician, producer and entertainer which also saw him producing two mixtapes Dem Need Di Natty Dread volumes 1and 2 mixed by Lexus Supreme and DJ Sluum respectively.

The Journey is definitely a project he’s very excited about as indicated by the artist’s EPK in which he describes The Journey as, “It is an album about my own life experiences that show integrity and my authenticity as an artist. Through this album, my sole purpose is to spread the message of love and unity, affection and prosperity. I believe this project reflects the legacy of the forefathers of reggae music.”
