Mr. Vegas’ New Visuals For ‘Ice Rain (Remix)’ A Nod To Dancehall’s Golden Era: Watch
On Friday, Dancehall superstar Mr. Vegas dropped di brand new visuals fi Ice Rain (Remix), a track produced by himself, ZJ Rush, and legendary producer/selector Bobby Konders of Massive B.
Released last month pon Konders’ Brooklyn-based Massive B Records, di remixed chuun now boasts a hot new video dat tek dancehall music back to di essence!
In an apparent nod to di golden era of dancehall music, Vegas is seen rocking a Bermuda Casual Kangol, a Poetic Justice tee shirt, a flannel around him waist, and a boombox pon top a him shoulda, recalling LL Cool J’s classic look from him Radio days.
Di video, directed by Tizzy Tokyo, was filmed partially inna Los Angeles and partially inna Kingston, Jamaica. Expertly choreographed by South Florida-based Khaja J, di new visuals flaunt har Karizma Dancers crew getting down wid some vintage moves, as cued by di selector.
“Ice Rain has the authentic dancehall sound that has been missing in the space. The video will definitely showcase the great vibe that dancehall is known for,” Mr. Vegas seh inna a release.
