In a recent interview with FAIM Hub, Tafari had this to say regarding the inspiration behind the song and what led to the journey of his latest single, “Reggae Reggae”.
“Reggae Reggae was inspired by an old original song still sitting in the book of ideas. Totally different melody but similar message. Funny I always wanted to release that old version but never was totally confident with the mix and vocal delivery. So it’s been just sitting like a duck on a quiet lake watching the view…Until I heard this fresh instrumental from Miss Mac Music called “Don’t You Love This Riddim”. Immediately word started to flow and that’s ‘all she wrote’. Once I caught the hook and melody the rest was cake walk. I loved it, they love it…everyone loved it which was my signal that the vibes was on point…The rest was history…”
