Rising Reggae sensation Black-Am-I releases the ‘Living Dread’ EP: Listen

FAIM Hub | September 16, 2019

Nine Mile, a district in Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica, is the home and burial place of one of the world’s most iconic musicians and peace activists in the world, Bob Marley. It is also the home and source of inspiration for yet another rising Reggae sensation, Black-Am-I. The artist, on this EP, discusses many topics, mainly the issues that are affecting our socioeconomic climates and providing suggestions for resolve, which includes both an inward look and outward look at what’s going on in our world today.

Throughout the EP, you can feel a sense of care for the community and the hope for a better humanity. Black-Am-I is true to the Reggae sound, the feel, and carries out a powerful message. For Reggae fans, this is a must-listen, and for the world, there are some keys to improvement. Check out Black-Am-I’s ‘Living Dread’—out now through Damian Marley’s imprint Ghetto Youths International—below.
