Drake Set To Make Surprise Appearance At Wireless Festival This Weekend
Drizzy plans on joining DJ Khaled and Giggs at the beloved festival.
Fresh off his Scorpion album release with love still going around for the double-sided tape, Drake is set to make his first official performance for UK fans over at Wireless Music Festival, according to reports.
Drizzy has headlined the festival twice before and this time he’s set to join his buddy DJ Khaled and Giggs. “Drake is known for his surprise appearances, having performed at the Reading festival and London’s Xoyo last year,” a source told the publication. “But he’s now planning his biggest surprise to tie in with the launch of his latest album. Giggs and DJ Khaled have asked him to come out on stage with them on Sunday as they bring the festival to a close. With 50,000 music fans attending it’s the perfect place to showcase his album and thank fans for their support.”
Drake’s new tape made a new record for streaming services, bringing in the most single-day streams than any platform, earning approximately 132 million streams on Spotify in its first day based on charts.
